By time we had found the house we wanted, and had already put in an offer and received an acceptance. We would be closing on the new house before the old one was sold, so we were quite eager to find a buyer as soon ad possible. A couple of months later, we closed on our new house and moved out of our old house. Marija then helped us find people to clean and primp up our old house so that it would show at its best.

It was not the best time to be selling. In a difficult environment with many comparable homes for sale in our area, prices at historic highs, and an ever dwindling number of buyers despite low interest rates on mortgages, Marija advertised our house in the publications that she felt would most likely to be read by our potential buyer, and she held several open houses. Finally, while other houses around us remained for sale, we had found our buyer, and at a price that gave us a nice profit. We were delighted.

As we headed towards the closing, all sorts of little problems cropped up. Certain documents needed to be located; appraisers and surveyors needed to be let into the vacant property; the front door locks were vandalized and a locksmith had to be called to drill and replaced the locks; we had historically low temperatures and we were concerned that the heat should be adequate to protect the plumbing; etc. throughout, Marija was available, helpful, and many times went over to our house to whatever needed to be done. She kept in close touch with us by phone every step of the way.

We closed on our old house two days ago. This was the 21st closing I have had in my lifetime. However, of all the house I have bought and sold, this transaction stands out because of the extraordinary level of service Marija provided. In every way she is knowledgeable, professional, conscientious, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I don't think I would be in my new home today if it wasn't for her. During the sale of our house my husband passed away suddenly.
