About Us:
I have enjoyed living in Northumberland County for over 18 years, and with raising two children here, am knowledgable of the many features and benefits this area has to offer. Being a real estate agent with ReMax Lakeshore Realty Inc, Brokerage in Cobourg, Ontario, has given me the education, experience and marketing tools I need, to be the professional real estate Sales Representative you need.
Before becoming an agent, my career experience consisted of 25 years in the retail marketplace, managing people of all ages and from all walks of life. I have taken many training programs to upgrade my professional skills and expertise, and will assist you with an organized, creative and informative approach to researching and listing your property.
Working with the public has enhanced my negotiating skills, which helps me to ensure that your wishes are presented as clearly and persuasively as possible. A personal interest in finance and real estate, has helped me become familiar with the various conventional and creative methods of financing, including the effective use of mortgage brokers.
Areas of Expertise
My husband and I have built our last two homes in the country, so I am very familiar with the purchase of vacant land, the construction of a new home, septic beds and wells. We have been repeat customers of Gilmer's Home Hardware in Port Hope and of Canadian Tire in Cobourg, Ontario, and have purchased many different types of fixtures, paint, furniture, carpet, etc... to help complete our home. If you are able to get 2 to 3 quotes for everything, buy local, and use local trade professionals to assist with your home build, you'll be helping our area to grow.
With my past experience as a manager, I feel that I am very helpful to first time buyers who need more information than most. I will answer any and all questions necessary and guide you to the different professionals needed for your first home purchase. We work with many mortgage, insurance, and inspection companies. CMHC has a great website that is very helpful in any home buying situation. I understand the nervousness that a first time home buyer experiences, and enjoy the enthusiasm they have towards the purchase of their new home. I am easy to work with and have built up a network of real estate agents from outside of the area that I can refer to you.
