Welcome - At Staging by Sonoran Accents, we are committed to providing affordable and effective staging and redesign services to home owners wishing to sell their property faster and at the highest price, by partnering with real estate professionals. We use a philosophy of creating "emotional connection points" through the home, instilling in the buyer a sense of "feeling home." Our passion for outstanding customer service is equaled by our talent for outstanding design. We create a fun and rewarding experience for the home owner while transforming the home into an environment where buyers can see themselves living and enjoying life.
I've studied and practiced design my entire professional career because I love it. I'm a graduate of Stephens College, Michigan State Univ., and a HRS Certified Professional Home Stager and Redesign Specialist. I've been involed in interior decorating, retail buying and management, visual display and business analysis for over 25 years. My love of good design is partnered with my joy in seeing people's lives enhanced through this home staging and redesign business, an offspring of another business, Sonoran Accents, opened several years ago with my husband Ray. Sonoran Accents creates and produces hand made decorator accent pieces for the home or office using fine art prints, leather, hand made paper, and ceramic tiles. (www.Sonoranaccents.com)
My interests are music, art and sports, and traveling with Ray in our RV. Throughout my life, I've lived in Illinois, the Washington D.C area, Michigan, California, and Arizona. Each location was the perfect place for the time I was there, and I'm grateful to have experienced them all.

I like to meet with the home seller and get to know alittle bit about them, explaining the process so they know what to expect. We walk through the home with "buyers eyes" and I take a visual inventory of objects in all rooms that we might be able to use. We eliminate decorating that may overwhelm the prospective buyer and detract from the positive features of the house. I like to work with what the home owner already has when possible, and may add a few of my accessories to update the rooms. When we're finished staging the main living areas, I'll take photos of the professionally staged rooms for the Realtor to use in marketing the home. As you know, over 85% of prospective buyers browse the internet prior to deciding which homes they want to see. By supplying photos of professionally stages rooms to post on the listing, more buyers will be attracted to your listing. We will transform the home into a "buyer friendly" space...A place the buyer can see themselves living comfortably.
