About Us:

Before entering the lending part of the business I sold real estate for 5 1/2 years. This experience has given me great insite into what it takes to complete a real estate trasaction. There are so many peolple working to make it all happen but the buyer only sees the Agent and the Loan Officer. With this being said, my focus is to keep everyone involved in the transaction up to date through the whole process. As a realtor my most frustrating moments were working with loan officers. I would trust them to take care of my clients the way I take care of them. I was usually dissapointed in that once I sent them my clients, I would very seldom hear from them. They were not good about returning phone calls and in a lot of cases when chalanges would come up you would not hear about it until it was late in the trasaction. 

I have a very straight forward approach to my profession. When I am sent a referral that referral is contacted immediately and the expectations are set up front. We will discuss any potential challenges we may have along the way and have a realistic outlook on how the trasaction will take place. As a realtor, you will know what is going on every step of the way. If challenges come up you will be aware of them so that these can be taken care of immediately. Communication is key to a succfessful trasaction and a sucessful referral partnership.

Areas of Expertise

My area of expertise would be in working with those challenging borrowers. Those individuals who may not have perfect credit but are willing to put forth the effort to work towards homeownership. It may take several months to get the borrowers ready for homeownership but its all worth it in the end. I enjoy teaching first time home buyers about the different types of down payment assistance programs, home buying seminars, and what loan options are available to them. It is challenging and rewarding at the same time.

My most recent testimonial comes from a borrower who came to me with a 563 FICO. He had been to another lender who referred him to a credit repair company to get his credit in order. This company was going to charge him $1300 to repair his credit. After looking at his credit report I ask him if he would mind if I gave one of his creditors a call. I talked with the creditor and had the collection removed from his account. This saved him $150 with one phone call. We went through his credit report line by line and put together a game plan. Some of the accounts he worked on and others I helped him with. In the mean time I had him apply for a down payment assistance program and he was approved for $20,000. He also attended a first time home buyer seminar which is a requirement for the down payment asst. money. Within 3 months we had his FICO up to a 629, got him some down payment asst. money and he is now ready to purchase a home.
