Westchester County is located immediately north of New York City. We have quaint and lovely Hudson River towns to the west, cosmopolitan areas to the south, acreage and horse farms to the north eastern quadrant and everything in between. We have world class dining. Parks, boutique shopping in our villages and several large shopping malls coupled with an excellent school system.
When relocating to a new community there is a lot to know. The internet now provides a wealth of information about communities, schools, commuting. You can find the best restaurants, nursery schools and whatever is of importance to you all from the comfort of your office or den. You can take your time and do research. You can preview homes and now you can see satellite views of the locations. Nothing takes the place however of visiting a community or a property. Things that you study might be entirely different when you view them in person. Tire kicking or in house terms walking the property is still an important aspect of this process.
After spending ten years in traditional Real Estate firms, large companies, I joined RE/MAX International and in particular RE/MAX Prime Properties in October of 2003 an an Associate Broker. I am now in a position to use the vast training and experience I have received over the years helping my clients. Having been in this business for over 15 years I have experienced both buyer's and seller's markets and have the skills to deal with the changes we now see. In 2007 I achieved recognition from RE/MAX International for volume of sales.
Over the past 25 years I have lived in several communites around Westchester County and therefore have knowledge about many of these communities. Recently, I have sold properties in Ardsley, Armonk, Hartsdale, Hastings-on-Hudson, Bronxville, Scarsdale, Chappaqua, Tarrytown. New Rochelle and Yonkers. While I am not an expert on all communities throughout Westchester County I do have knowledge of most areas.
I joined RE/MAX International because it is a global real estate company operating in 60 countries. There are 6,549 offices that engage over 115,460 sales associates who lead the industry in professional designations, experience and production.

The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the most prestigious and professional designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field. The CRS designation recognizes agents professional accomplishments by documenting millions of dollars of transactions and satisfactory completion of courses in finance, sales and marketing. Less than 5% of Realtors in the United States hold this distinction.
The Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation means that I have taken courses and have the knowledge and experience to assist "maturing" Americans when buying or selliing residential property.
Currently over 82% of home buying consumers do their research on-line. To keep up with what is a very fast moving industry I have obtained the e-Pro Designation from the National Association of Realtors. Yes, there really are agents who don't carry a cell phone!
The Accredited Buyer Representative designation, conferred by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC), confirms an agent's mastery of buyer representation. Agents who have earned the ABR designation have demonstrated experience in buyer representation. Two key areas emphasized in ABR training are how to identify potential problems with a property and how to negotiate the best price on behalf of the buyer. REBAC is an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.
I have also obtained the Certified New Home Specialist and am a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) of the New York State Association of Realtors.
