As a Certified Senior Advisor Amy has completed a rigorous course of instruction in the concerns facing seniors.  This course is taught by a nationally recognized panel of experts in social work, law, medicine, gerontology, geriatrics and financial planning.  Upon completion of the course, she passed a comprehensive exam to demonstrate her knowledge of the issues and her commitment tomeeting the needs of her senior clients.  Amy also adheres to the strong code of professional responsibility as a current member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors.

Thank you for your help in exploring reverse mortgage options for my mother and for the very simple and efficient process that led to a successful closing. Most of my questions were handled via e-mail and your replies were comprehensive and timely. You provided comparison sheets, closing costs, amortization schedules and specific recommendations for my mother which I found to be very helpful during the research phase. My mother and I enjoyed seeing you in person and appreciated the convenience of having a meeting at my mother's house. There, Mom was relieved to learn that getting a reverse mortgage didn't mean 'hawking' the house and that the loan is secured by the federal government.

 

The closing went very smoothly and also occurred at Mom's home, which seemed to reduce any stress Mom may have had (thank you, Mike Gorman). The time from my initial inquiry to closing was only 30 days, which is remarkable. I would certainly recommend you to anyone I know who may have a parent in a similar situation.
