On April 17, 2024, California Association of Realtors (C.A.R) reported an annualized rate of 267,470 single family homes sold in California in March of 2024 fell 7.8% from 290,020 in February of 2024, and declined 4.4% from 279,700 home sales in March of 2023.The single family homes values were higher 6.0% to the price of $854,490 in March of 2024 from price of $806,490 in February of 2024, and increased 7.7% from price of $793,260 in March of 2023 in California.There were 2.6 months supplies of available inventory of single family homes in March of 2024, down from 3.0 months in February of 2024, but up from 2.1 months in March of 2023.An average it took 19.0 days to sell a single family home in March 2024, lower from 22.0 days in February of 2024, and dropped from 24.0 days in March of...

Follow the housing market in the San Antonio Texas area, Major cities in Texas and the Uvalde County areas for March 2024. Total Sales were 3,244. Average sales price of homes in San Antonio was $370,824, and the median sales price was $310,223.We are still slightly in a seller's market with homeowners getting 94.4% of listed price. Days on the market was up to 79 days, and the inventory of available homes was at 4.4 months. Price per square foot was $178. Residential rentals are now averaging $1820/month. Travis County in the Austin, TX area still shows the highest cost for residential housing, with Dallas and Harris counties following.
