Q. If you receive a full price offer for your home and you don't accept, 1) do you have to take it off the market for a year? 2)do you have to pay the commission to the agent

I don't know of any laws that state you must take the property off the market for a year after turning down an offer.  In the other instance, your listing agreement will state that you owe the commision if your agent brings you a ready, willing and able buyer.  In other words if you have a full price offer but the buyer is not financially able to buy the house you do not owe a commission.

Why would you reject a full price offer? Were the buyers asking to lots of repairs or fail to show they had the financial means to back up the offer?
