Q. Does anyone uses the "Mobile Voice Routing". Is this truly the future for real estate and will be or already is the way of getting leads? I found a site that said this is a new technology. I'm newer to the field and I need help on this.

I'm not really sure what you mean by "mobile voice routing," but I signed up for Google Voice for FREE, and it gives me a second number for my smartphone.  It's really great, and I use my Google number for all business calls.  I use my regular number for my personal stuff.  I like it for a number of reasons:

- I don't have to give out my regular number to people.

- I can have it ask the person to state their name, etc. before picking up.

- It also has a whole host of other features, like setting it to make multiple phones ring (if you have a team), etc.

I'm not sure what service you are thinking of using, but don't wind up paying for some B.S.  I've used Google Voice for a while now & it's been great for me... Good luck!

You're probably talking about the new service Proquest Technologies is rolling out. I've been one of their customers for quite a while on their talking sign type of program. We use it to good success, but won't be upgrading to their voice routing. It's just too expensive and truthfully I don't want to talk to everyone that calls the number on my sign. I've lots more important stuff to do. If you do want to talk to everyone, it does seem like their system might work. Is it worth $100 a month, not to me.

You mentioned that you use it for good success but you wont be upgrading to therir voice routing, so you use the introductory option or "try version" but you won't upgrade because of the money? What do you pay per month now, if yours is not the upgraded version which is $100 a month, what you pay and what option you use seems to be worted once you said that you use it to good success. Please let me know how it works and much success you've got! Thank you!

It sounds a lot like the talking house marketing system that's been around for years. You can probably pay for an 800 number with a prerecorded message about your listings. Google Voice is great and it's free.

Hi, I’m Gary Elwood, President and CEO of Proquest Technologies and one of the developers of the Mobile Voice Routing system. I apologize if our website didn’t fully explain what MVR is and does (we’re revising it now). So I’m happy to take this opportunity to clarify.

Mobile Voice Routing is more than call capture and recorded info, it delivers live conversations with real prospects at the moment they first express interest in buying or selling. Since, according to the National Realtors Association, nearly 3/4 of all home sales are closed with the first agent a prospect talks to, these are very high-quality (and very high converting) conversations.

@Frederick, Google Voice is a great service but MVR goes way beyond answering, screening and routing your calls. It delivers live conversation while people are looking at homes or considering selling. These are motivated prospects and MVR includes training in what we call Prospect Centered Sales - a sales process specifically designed to convert these prospects into clients.

@Reed, we’re glad to have you as a satisfied customer for one of our services but MVR is much more than a “talking sign type program.” With our new technology, and a strategic sales system designed specifically for MVR, we create live conversations with high-quality prospects at the instant they are most receptive to talking with you. And we are actually doing that over 90% of the time when agents implement our new system.

To give you an idea of the quality of these conversations, some agents are closing (actual commission checks) 10-15% of these conversations. So when I hear someone say "I don’t want to talk to everyone," I have to emphasize that we don’t deliver “everyone” we deliver motivated prospects and what could possibly be more important to your business than talking to buyers and sellers who are ready and verifiably in the buy/sell cycle.

So, rather chasing 200-300 "leads" a month to get 2 or 3 transaction, MVR is about having 20-30 quality conversation and generating 2-5 commission checks from those conversations.

That's the proven difference we're making in our clients’ sales and marketing efforts, which is why we believe having meaningful conversations with people who are in the buy/sell cycle is the single most important activity an agent can be engaged in on a daily basis.

@Yolanda, it’s not a free service but I can show you why it’s a good investment for your business. Please free to visit https://my.timedriver.com/KGJZ2 to schedule a call with me (not a sales rep) or email me directly at Gary at ProquestTechnologies.com

Also, can see the full list of services that come with MVR on the product page at Mobile Voice Routing

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
