Q. Can a Wisconsin Real Estate licensee list property in another state?

Are they licensed in that state?

It is not advisable to list property outside of your area of expertise, best to get an agent who is local and can post the property in the local mls.

In a word No...unless there is some strange reciprocity agreement we are unaware of...best to work with people who know the area. It IS legal...and we think advisable to be referred to a realtor in another state if you know someone who has such connections.  This is a far better approach than looking through the yellow pages.
