Fannie and Freddie are still in business.  The government took over their operations in 2008 and are getting ready to start stricter regulations on them in the very near future.  The gov't will be claiming 100% of their revenue until the debt is somewhat paid.  This was just announced a couple weeks ago.  There are several Fannie Mae foreclosures in our area and we are waiting impatiently for the other 53% of their inventory to hit the market.  Who knows when that will be? ;o)

Thanks for the reply. I keep up with them as I can. The only thing for certain is I had several a week and then overnight zero. Another Realtor I know said the same thing about the inventory. They are not meat and potatoes for me but more like a desert.
