Q. Hello Everyone ! We are a real estate marketing company based in Guangzhou, China. We are interested in selling US real estate (specifically Florida and Georgia) to our investor base here in China. Our investors are looking at investment properties (rent yielding), Foreclosure/short sale properties and also for EB5 properties. How can we tie-up with US based real estate agents? And what would be the business model between the two ? Many thanks. Mark. (p.s. I have posted this in "Florida" section also. )

Hello Mark,

Were you successful in finding an agent to represent your investment group in locating Atlanta area properties?  I am currently working with a London based investor representing buyers in Mylasia. I am also working on a referral basis with a Tampa Broker who has investors in Austrialia.  Everyone is looking for the same properties and your ability to move on them once located makes all the difference.  You expresed intrest in shortsale properties which other investment groups are not willing to work with as it produces uncertainty for their buyers.  If your group is willing to wait on the shortsales you would have less competion from other investors and if you are operating on cash basis would have an edge on owner/occupants trying to finance properties.  Easy way of working this is My company would have a referral agreement with you and we would have a buyers agreement with purchaser.  Or we could devise or use a current nonexclusionary agreement between involved parties.  Let me know if I can be of assistance.  Kenneth Edmondson,GRI,ABR
