Who is your Wing Man? - 05/15/2008 10:36 PM
It amazes me in real estate how much we are "counted" on for the other things to make things happen. As a client and professional team up in a trusting relationship, clients want to know about other services like cleaning people, pool service, inspectors, Home Warranty, etc.
You have in essence

What Do You Expect? - 05/15/2008 10:34 PM
I have a quote framed on my desk, and while I can't say it's my favorite quote (there are far too many wonderful ones out there to ever be able to narrow it down) it is the one in which I believe the most passionately.

After two posts about my daughter's failed purchase of a FSBO property and LOTS of comments to those posts over the past few days, I feel a need to come to the defense of FSBO's. Someone has to play devil's advocate, and I started this conversation - so why not me.

Is This Happening in All Areas???? - 05/15/2008 01:34 PM
My last post involved "open listings", and my feeling that they may be opportunities for promotion.
One of the assumptions that I had about "open listings" was that the seller would pay one agent (likely a buyer's agent) an amount LESS than a full listing dollar amount- negotiable, as we all

It's Really Hard to Sell a House with Your Legs Crossed! - 05/15/2008 01:32 PM
Bathroom Chat Part II
While following Kathy Somer's blog on faux staging last week (that topic was beat to death, but here it is if you were living under a rock and missed it...) something came up over and over again that I'd like to challenge address.
Stagers keep talking
