Richard's Background
My background is 20 years of marketing and sales focusing on international business. I got into real estate by rehabbing and flipping properties in SOCAL and decided to become a sales associate in 2004. My background in eMarketing, creating specialty websites and blogs etc. helps me reach thousands of potential buyers. I feel that multi-media communication is the key to real estate marketing today. I use websites, blogs, bulletin boards, sites such as Active Rain, Yahoo, Google and Trulia. Also, I'm a freelance writer and have written articles for the Florida Times Union on real estate, security and self-directed IRA's.

Getting the information out to the market with a persuasive pitch is marketing. Are you sick of reading classifieds that say the same thing over and over? If location is such a big deal in Real Estate, why aren't more agents singing its praises? Why do you always read: "...three bedrooms, two baths, granite counter tops, central air and heat, new carpeting, two car garage? What happened to the location?
People buy houses on "feelings and emotions". Where's the description of the feeling of the house? What's it like to be a young executive on the rise, living in this property? I consider those points in my advertising.
