About Alpha One Staging

 Barbara has been involved in buying and selling real estate for over 20 years. She is an undergraduate of York University's Fine Arts Degree program, with background design studies from a two-year graphic design program at George Brown College, along with various art courses from OCAD, (Ontario College of Art & Design). In 1985, she bought her first house. Her goal was to buy it, fix it up and sell it for a profit in a short period of time. In less than two years, she did just that -- she made $67,000 on her first sale. She then moved on to her second, third, fourth, etc., and hasn't looked back. In the late '80s, Barbara was president of her own communications company with clients in real estate and publications. She recently worked as a staging instructor while completing her accreditation and launched Alpha One Staging in 2007. While touring your home inside and out, I begin by listening to determine your goals and what needs to be accomplished to reach successful staging or re-design solutions to sell your home. I offer colour consultation to ensure your house will appeal to as many buyers as possible, along with room layouts, furniture rentals or replacements if necessary, fine art rentals, accessorizing, storage solutions and more. With a solid background in redesign, renovation and staging, I will let you as a homeowner know during our first meeting the logistics of the task-at-hand, or provide you with skilled tradespersons to complete the job, such as painters, carpenters, etc. Alpha One's inspiration in staging your home for sale, is in changing your living space into a buyer's space!

I think Barbara did a fabulous staging job on 70  Ellerbeck Street.  It was warm , sophisticated and had an elegant feel about it.  Clients fell in love with it and we had 5 offers.
