Allen Lungo and his Costa Rican partners have grown the Summerland Group of companies into the most fully-integrated investor consulting and vacation support organization on the Pacific Coast. Routine responsibilities include management oversight of more that 200 individual residential and commercial properties in a dozen resort locations.
Direct services have included: development consulting, real estate sales, construction observation, punchlist coordination, interior design, property management, association management, vacation rental management, and property insurance and mortgage consulting. The group’s model is to provide every service needed by investors and vacationers wishing to optimize their experience in Costa Rica.
Mr. Lungo is also the Broker for Costa Rica Real Estate Store, the full-service real estate company within the Summerland Group. He is peer-licensed by the Costa Rica Global Association of Realtors for which he serves as Board President. He also has chaired the effort to implement a single, national MLS for Costa Rica.
Mr. Lungo also works to promote the responsible growth of Costa Rica by serving on various association boards for management of water resources and mountain development.
In August, 2011, Mr. Lungo was the featured presenter at the Global Forum of the Annual Convention of the Florida Realtors Association. He presented “Costa Rica – Real Estate, Realtors, and Referrals” to encourage networking with its members.
