Why work with Amy?
I have been a Buyer's Specialist with The Stephen Cooley Team at Keller Williams Realty since the beginning of 2006. I made the move to real estate after spending many years on the road in pharmaceutical sales. My family, my career, and my community are my focus. I have been married to Brent since 2001 and we have two boys, Cooper (5) and Fielding is almost a year old. While the hours can be less than predictable in real estate, being able to enjoy what I am doing everyday AND be close to home is priceless! I grew up in Rock Hill in a family-owned restaurant, Thursdays Too. I watched my parents become involved in the community and have tried to follow their example. I am currently serving on the Come See Me Board of Directors (www.comeseeme.org), as a Sustainer in the Junior Welfare League (www.juniorwelfareleague.com), on the York County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs, and am involved with the Museum. We are active members of Westminster Presbyterian Church (www.wpcgo.com) and truly enjoy all that this community has to offer!
Proven Track Record
Of the more than 900 Realtors in York County, I am one of 34 that have obtained the Accredited Buyer Representative certification. I am also a Certified Negotiation Specialist. My business focuses on working with buyers, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the area with them. Whether they are new to the area, making a local move, interested in a For Sale By Owner, new construction, custom build, townhome, condo, or raw land, I can truly represent their best interests. In my first year alone, I sold a record breaking $10.4 million in real estate and have improved each and every year. I am looking forward to many more successful years of providing excellent customer service and going above and beyond for my clients!
I have also made a commitment to myself and my clients to be on the cutting edge of technology, trends, and training. I keep a close eye on the local market and have taken advantage of training opportunities throughout the country. Being involved in networking groups with Top Agents throughout the United States, and more importantly, working on a team led by Stephen Cooley, I feel that I have the resources to get the right answer to obstacles that I may not have encountered before from the best. Often times, having these resources not only makes for a smoother transaction, but also saves my clients a lot of money!
In addition to the ABR certification metioned above, I am a Certified Negotiation Specialist and am proud of the fact that this has translated into significant savings for my clients. The education and training, along with the actual knowledge and experience in completing almost 125 transactions as of the Fall of 2008 has given me what I believe amounts to many more years of experience than most agents in this area.
