Our production staff brings a great deal of experience and knowledge to the title/real estate field. They are in direct contact with each client, answering questions and ensuring the client is at ease throughout the entire transaction. Cosmopolitan Title & Settlement, Inc., makes closing the transaction SIMPLE. We offer the continuity of using the same closer for each clientele account so we can speciliaze our closing process to fit the client. This allows for a higher comfort level in the closer/client relationsip and makes closing as smooth and easy as possible. Extended closing time options and the ability to close in multiple locations makes closing convenient and SIMPLE for our clients.
With over ten offices currently operational and four more planned to open by this time next year, we continue to grow. Over the years we have acquired the necessary financial strength and staying power for moving title services to a higher level, and to ensure we will be able to grow with you, and be here fore you, both today and tomorrow.
Background
Having a vast background in the real estate industry has been a blessing. I began my career as a real estate agent in 1995. After having several great years as an agent, I wanted to expand my horizons and got interested in the title end of the business. In 1997, I started working on a part-time basis with a local firm in Miami. The firm was owned by an attorney and a great deal of the transactions were quite complex. That's when the passion for the title industry began for me. Shortly thereafter I took a full time position with the firm and put my real estate career as an agent aside. The opportunity of working with an attorney expanded my knowledge of the business a great deal. Closing eighty percent of the office's transactions exposed me to deals including short sales, divorces, estates, trusts etc.
In May 2005, my family and I relocated to Southwest Florida. One of the best decisions we have made so far in our lives. Southwest Florida is a whole different world from where I grew up in the East Coast. There is more attention given to the family life here, people are more courteous and it's overall a great place to live and work. Once settled in my new town, I decided that it was time to become a fully licensed title agent. After so many years in the business it was time to get my certification and get an appointment with a title insurance underwritier. After much consideration of the underwriters in this business, my best fit was Stewart Title Guaranty. Therefore, in 2006, I became an appointed title insurance agent with one of the most reputable underwriters in the business, Stewart Title Guaranty.
My work is a great part of my life. I am fortunate to say that I enjoy everyday getting up and coming to work. Sometimes there are challenges, but those challenges are the reminder that this is what I feel a great passion for. It is an extremely rewarding experience to know that although at times complex, I am a facilitator in making so many peoples dreams come true.
