Homeowner; I still remember what it was like to buy my first home -- the excitement, the anticipation, the dreams, the sense of accomplishment, the unfamiliarity of the buying process, the fear about money, the fear that I might be making a mistake, the doubts, wondering what problems with the house may not be evident, the sense of overwhelm of it all

A report summary is usually available to client and agents within 24 hours of the inspection. The full report to the client is generally turned around in 48 hours.

A fair number of my clients are out of the area at the time of the inspection. I take the extra time needed to communicate with you, whether you are in Germany, Singapore, Michigan or New Jersey.

I encourage local clients to be at the inspection.

Why I Do What I Do For You

I enjoy providing people with excellent service, honesty, integrity and trust.

Joe & Heather Morgan said they are really happy with the report. They really appreciated the level of detail and organization of the information. I exceeded their expectations.

Michael & Dawn Rouse said I did a wonderful job. The report was very nice. Overall, "you exceeded my expectations."

Scott & Miriam Huther had me inspect their home about 11 months after they bought it (new construction). They had a 1 year builder's warranty. They really appreciated the thoroughness of my inspection. Miriam told me, "the builder fixed the problems you identified on the inspection." She considered it money well spent.

Troy and Sara had me inspect their home about 10 months after they bought it (new construction). They, too, had a 1 year builder's warranty. The seller agreed to repair anything a licensed home inspector called out on the report. And boy, did I ever find things, like the gap between an outside wall and the roof, the downspout that created a lake right by the front door, up against the basement wall -- water problems galore! Sara said, "I took the contractor's representative up into the attic to see where the light was coming through. He didn't think there was a problem until I showed it to him, and explained what you had told me." That would have been a very costly fix several years from now.

Ross told me the cost of the inspection was the best money he ever spent. He was under contract to purchase a home. But, after the inspection, he realized the home was not suitable for him. Later, he found another home, which he hired me to inspect. That second home was suitable for him.

These are things I've come to expect, and expect that everyone else does, too. But, I've learned that is not always the case.

My goal is to provide access to the very best information available, so that you can make an informed decision. It's all about due diligence.
