Barbara has a strong background in finance, having been a Chief Financial Officer of Hipotronics, Inc, a publicly traded firm in Brewster, New York, as well as having been a C.P.A. (Certified Public Accountant).  This financial background lends itself well to the field of real estate.  Prior to that experience Barbara was a school teacher, and has good communication skills, both verbally and written,  This background has been extremely valuable to her in the field of real estate.

Barbara has several VAs (Virtual Assistants) who handle some of the real estate work that does not involve direct dealings with clients.  Plus her husband John is also licensed and assists with the many errands of putting in signs, hanging lockboxes, delivering papers, etc, and occasionally does open houses, thus freeing up more of Barbara's time to deal directly with her clients.
