Paul A. Perry with Certified Inspections has been certified by North America's most prestigious Home Inspection Association, ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) since 1993.  In addition to being an ASHI Certified Inspector (member # 102274) I am also a TN State Licensed Home Inspector (#334).  I am a member in good standing with the local Better Business Bureau, Crossville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Home Builders.  I was a licensed Builder/Contractor for seven years before entering the Home Inspection Profession.  In the last 14 years I have recieved over 400 hours of continueing education directly relating to the Home Construction and Home Inspection industry.  I write a news/information article that is published in a local bi-monthly magazine, "House & Home".

I have been happily married to my first wife (Kathy) for 28 plus years. That means I'm dependable, trustworthy; I keep my word.  We have been blessed with 10 (Ten) children.  (Yes,ten.)  This was done with forthought and a full understanding of what caused them and where they came from.  All mine and Kathy's, all single births.  That means I have patience, I'm able to communicate well; I pay attention to detail.      Protecting You & Your Home - IS MY BUSINESS!  

I specialize in New Home Construction.  Having been a Builder (for seven years) and a Home Inspector (for ten years) in an area where building codes were in place and had been being enforced for several decades I have a full understanding of modern building standards and techniques.  This is critical in this area of TN where as of yet there is no building code enforcement in many areas, including Cumberland County.  At this point the old saying is directly applicable, "Buyer Be Ware".  I offer phase-in inspections for clients that are having a new home custom built in this area of TN.  It is essential that you have your home inspected before you go to closing, while the money is still in your bank account.  That way your builder is still very focused on your home and feels a since of ergency to resolve whatever issues may come to light during the inspection.  After you close, it belongs to you.  The house is yours, your money is his.  Very few and far between are the builders that have the same focus and diligence to repair - YOUR HOUSE!
