About Prepare For Sale
Prepare For Sale was founded by Joy (my then-girlfriend). My first introduction into Home Staging was when I went to sell my house. That's when I realized how important it is to have your home staged before it even goes on the market. Today's buyers want a house that's move-in ready. That was my first success in Staging.
After helping her with a large job, I decided this was the career I was looking for. I took the ASP training course to become accredited, and after that we formed a partnership - two actually - a business partnership and a marriage!
Together we are able to combine our talents, and see things from not one, but two fresh perspectives. We find that with our diverse backgrounds one can spot what the other cannot - Call it the Mars/Venus approach to Home Staging!
Why Prepare For Sale Works
I have been in the building industry for 30 years and have seen many styles come and go. What I have recognized lately is that today's busy consumers are much more savy and much less willing to invest in a home that isn't turn-key ready. This is why it's so important to get that worn carpet replaced and the walls freshly painted before the FOR SALE sign is put up. And it's equally important to have a home that gives the buyer the same ready-to-move-into feeling as a model home. This is where Staging comes in.

What Prepare For Sale Can Offer
We specialize in vacant homes, working within the homeowners budget to add warmth to an emptly house. With an extensive inventory of furniture and home accessories, we are able to keep rental fees to a minimum.
We also do Staging to Live, having understood how de-cluttering your home can also de-clutter your life.
We offer consultations, where the homeowner would do the work, and free bids where Prepare For Sale will do the work.
