- Description
- Providing Extraordinary Service for buyers and sellers in Pinehurst, Southern Pines,
Whispering Pines. Let me exceed your expectations on your next real estate transaction.
About Us:
"It is such a privilege to be a part of this extraordinarily important decision in people's lives. Whether they are buying or selling, it is a privilege that cannot be taken lightly. I love knowing that the people who have entrusted me over the years to assist them at those times are among my most treasured friends today."
I began my 22nd year as a real estate professional this past May (2007). I have been involved in various aspects of the real estate industry since first licensed in Vermont in 1986. Many years spent in the resort and second home market places of Killington, Stratton and Manchester, Vermont have given me a unique perspective and a broad understanding of the recreational home purchase, be it a primary residence, a second home or a retirement lifestyle choice.
Real estate done right is a customer/client service focused business. Customer service is the key to making sure your real estate experience is everything you deserve and expect. I look forward to providing an extraordinary level of service to you in the purchase or sale of your home. As a buyer's agent, I am skilled at matching wants and needs to available properties to come up with great homes and properties for my clients. And as a seller's agent, I'll put my considerable marketing skills combined with state of the art technology to work to bring about the successful sale of YOUR property.
Once my kids were grown and off the payroll, I relocated to the Sandhills in 2003, after 32 years in Vermont. "I love Vermont and at heart I am still a skier, but there came a time when 6 months of winter got to be more than I wanted to face year after year. Once I saw Pinehurst, my search for a suitable new home was over. Now I love comparing notes with colleagues up north who have not yet escaped. I judge my winters these days by how many days I have to wear socks! (instead of long underwear.)"
Areas of Expertise
Currently I am enjoying a career in traditional residential brokerage. I also have many years experience in on-site work, for resort developers in ski country, including the specialized work of fractional ownership sales.
Testimonials
Here's my favorite:
To whom it may concern;
This is to introduce Jill Ford, Real Estate Agent with a passion to match people with property. Until Jill took the initiative to telephone me in Charleston, SC I would never have known what a true Seller's Agent might achieve. Our original contract had expired without activity and pretty much without communication from the broker we had signed a contract with in July of 2005. For six months we received little in the way of information pertaining to efforts made on our behalf to show the property or market it to other agents. Having little experience in the home selling arena I had nothing with which to compare my observations.
Jill Ford went out of her way to research the market and approach us with a proposal. I remain amazed at Jill's demonstrated tenacity to research information to achieve success. Jill did her homework, saw and seized an opportunity, and promised to exceed our expectations. I believe Jill is a consummate professional whose passion is to serve. She is reliable as a candid, forthright individual who will go the extra mile to achieve optimal results.
Following six months of limited contact with our previous broker Jill kept me routinely informed of every activity she engaged on our behalf. This was refreshing considering our distance from Seven Lakes. She understood our objective as a family and established a plan to achieve our goal of selling our Mom's house at a fair and reasonable value. Neither my sister nor I desired unrealistic gain from the home that had served our Mom so exceptionally. We also had no urgency to unload the property at less than market value.
Upon signing the contract with Jill in February 2006 activity commenced immediately. Jill set her feet on the street and contacted the broker community by direct mail, open houses, and any means necessary to gain exposure. Jill championed our family's desire to honor our Mom's memory by keeping her commitments, achieving the deliverables established, and maintaining an open and candid dialogue with us as to comments made by those who had seen the property. Jill practiced her expertise in a fashion that was outcome driven and designed to meet with a success that would be satisfactory to all parties.
We are exceptionally pleased with the savvy that Jill Ford demonstrated in bringing a viable contract to the table within 2 months of establishing our relationship. Jill demonstrates a perspicuity for the Seven Lakes market, a fire in her belly to achieve results, and an honesty that is welcomed and appreciated. We are ever grateful to Jill for having successfully accomplished the goal we established in placing the home for sale in July of 2005.
