About ME:

My name is Betty Saenz and I am a licensed Texas REALTOR®, member of Williamson County Association of REALTORS®,  the Austin Board of REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service and the National Association of REALTORS®. 

I specialize in Residential, Farm & Ranch & Investment Real Estate sales. I have had special marketing training such as from the nationally known firm of Hobbs Herder as well as being a graduate of Floyd Wickman's "Sweat Hog" & "Starmakers" programs.  My degree in Psychology (presented "with HONORS"), Master's level training in Counseling as well as my years of experience make me a skillful negotiator, stager, and marketer.  I also hold the GRI- Graduate, REALTOR® Institute as well as a Senior Residential Specialist, SRES®, designations. I have experience in & truly believe in/am passionate about GREEN homes along with my EcoBrokers® designation- to work in GREEN Real Estate.

I like it here in Austin- the rolling terrain, creeks, lakes and culture.  No matter what you're into- you can find it in Austin.  There is truly something (actually several) things to do here every day!  Real Estate here seems unaffected by the National economy.  We are still strong in Central Texas while the nation's Real Estate market suffers.  Amazing!

My family has been here now for 4 generations- since the 1870's. My Grandfather, OW Sandstrom & father, Carl W. Raetzsch were both UT graduates; Mom graduated from Austin High School- the OLD Austin High on 12th that is ACC now. Grandfather was a partner &  Attorney at Gracy Title in the old Gracy Building.  Lots of family history in the historic Oakwood Cemetary. I remember the 60's and 70's Austin.  I saw & heard the shots of Charles Whitman on UT Tower from Grandma's house near UT at 608 Texas Avenue.  What an event!
