Originally planning on becoming a police officer, Al took his licensing course as a back up plan while progressing through selection. When time came to choose between careers, Real Estate was it.

"In a lot of ways the benefits of police work and Real Estate are one and the same. I get to help people each and every day, and the opportunities for thinking outside the box are just as limitless, not to mention the countless opportunities for community involvement. I get to be the best I can be every day and I love it."

Upon meeting him for the first time, the thing you may notice besides his height is the easy going, non-pushy demeanor he exudes.

"I don't believe for a second you can 'talk' someone into what's probably the biggest financial decision of their life. I will however, offer qualified, professional advice backed up by experience, education, and results. In the end though, the decision is the client's, and I will not try to force it either way. The last thing I want to come across as is a high pressure salesman."

In addition to his Real Estate License, Al holds an Honors diploma in Computer Science/Internet Programming, was FISAF certified in Australia as a Fitness Leader/Personal Trainer, and keeps his Occupational First Aid Certificate up to date. He has a penchant for anything technology related, and is constantly seeking education. Of particular interest is the topic a wise man coined raising his "Financial IQ", which, amazingly, is not taught in today's school system.

Re: Sale of Langford Condo
In July this year, we decided to sell our condo.  Al had been recommended to us so we called and made an appointment to meet with him. We met on a Tuesday to view the vacant condo and signed a contract for Al to handle the sale for us.  By Thursday the property was listed.  An Open House was organized for that weekend after which an offer was presented to us, which we accepted. The sale was completed within two weeks.

Al handled the sale in a very businesslike and efficient manner.  We found him very personable and courteous to deal with and will not hesitate to use his services for any real estate dealings in the future.

I've had the pleasure of previously working with Al, which is where I had come to learn of his career decision in Real Estate. He seemed eager and willing to go the distance, so when my husband and I decided to take the big plunge, there was noone else we would have considered to help find our dream home.

Within the first day of meeting up to discuss and arrange viewing of homes we had made 3 appointments for homes in the area in which we were looking. By the end of the week we had made and offer and had it accepted. For a situation which we thought would be stressful and time consuming, Al made it an exciting adventure that only lasted a week! Several months ago we contacted Al Vucic to help find us a house. We have bought several houses in the past but knew no-one on the island we could trust, so were referred to him from some people who knew him. After contacting Al he had set up several houses for us to see in the price range with the specifics we needed (close to schools, 3 bedrooms etc). It took us several outings to find the right place but Al never pushed us in any direction. He just kept finding more places to see and let us know of any new ones that were being listed. After a couple weeks we found the right house and put in an offer. Our offer was accepted but there were complications on the sellers side that Al helped us through (we really wanted this house). All in all we had a happy ending due to his diligent efforts.

We would recommend Al to anyone looking for an agent. He was personable, friendly, very knowledgeable, and he made a complicated buy a lot easier.
