My Role at Exit Realty 1st Choice

I'm one of Three owners of Exit Realty 1st Choice bringing 25 years of Sales, marketing and Branding experience to our ownership team. I'm currently the Marketing Director in charge of all marketing and branding of our company on a local and national level. My main expertise is aimed at the assistance of branding and marketing all of our Agents by automating their marketing toward clients and their Total Sphere of Influence.

The Marketing department at Exit Realty 1st Choice is second to none. As Director of this department I'm responsible for training of the agent staff on proper marketing & Branding skills. Most Real Estate agents didn't realize when they entered the business that they were going to be a "jack of all trades" and more than just a few, really have no concept of advertising or branding themselves.

The Marketing and branding of an agents identity is paramount. We not only teach them the proper methods of branding, but also assist them in message, design, venue, demographics etc. The value of these services to our clients is also immense. Our agents get the best results for their clients when advertising and marketing the homes they list for sale! This equates to shorter market time and less stress for the client. The services of the department are free with no strings attached. In some cases the advertising is actually supplemented by the company!

Once an agent decides to use the services of our department, we will determine what the message will be for the campaign, who the target market is, delivery method & Budget for the third party printing or mail service. At this the agent can walk away for the duration of the campaign and concentrate on the duties of prospecting and selling. The Marketing department will automate and administrate the entire process of the campaign until the duration is ending and more planning is required with the agent.

We also take negotiation of advertising media very seriously. We negotiate company wide for the best possible rates, which agents can choose to take advantage of these rates or negotiate their own venues. All negotiations are open for review and we pride ourselves in our transparency. The reason for these efforts is to ad value to all agents advertising efforts and assist them in stretching the monies that drive their branding and advertising.

Any Brokerage that uses this as company revenue enhancement, at their agents expense, really doesn't understand that agents are the assets of the company and without them the business grinds to a halt. To bleed an agent of advertising funds for the purpose of paying the electric bill is despicable and undermines their own very existence! The more effective an agent becomes in their own branding & advertising, the more business will be created for the agent and the company alike. There is NO long term benefit of adding cost to the agents advertising budget.

The idea of residual income is relatively new to our industry and like all new things take a while to get used to seeing. Some of the worlds largest corporations are insurance firms that grew from this very concept.
