Barbara is a Florida native, but has lived in many places including Germany, New York City, Atlanta, Charlotte, Maryland and the D.C. area before coming home to the land she loves. As an oceanfront, riverfront, and Intracoastal homeowner and investor in waterfront properties, she understands and appreciates the joys, responsibilities and "gotchas" of waterfront property. She sells what she knows and enjoys.
Barbara organized a group of professionals in the St. Augustine area to form the St. Augustine Regional (StAR) Council in late 2010 to promote St. Augustine to individuals that are considering a move to Florida.
Barbara has been on the Board of Directors for the redevelopment efforts in Vilano Beach since 1998 and has earned the name "Miss Vilano" from her fellow (and female) real estate agents. She was the 2007 President of the St. Augustine Regional Chapter of the Women's Council of REALTORS (WCR) more than doubling the size of the chapter and earning a Gold Award, a chapter first. Additionally, she is the chair of the Scenic & Historic A1A State Scenic Highway (A1A in St. Johns County) and was President of A1A Scenic & Historic Coastal Byway (aka Friends of A1A) from 2008-2010. A1A is a National Scenic Byway in St. Johns County and Flagler counties. She is actively involved and receives first-hand knowledge of projects that affect the beauty of this great road and is determined to preserve and protect the wonderful quality of life we have in this area of the world. Education is important to Barbara. She was graduated from Georgia Tech with highest honors with a degree in Industrial Engineering. She has 15 years technology experience with IBM, 2 years as a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch, 3 years as the owner/publisher of TravelHost of the First Coast and over 10 years in Real Estate. She has earned the, certified Internet professional designation, e-PRO, the Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI), the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Performance Management Network (PMN---a WCR designation), the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and her broker's license. She has earned the At Home with Diversity Certification (AHWD) and is consistently a top producer in the area. Additionally, she can assist your International customers as she is Transnational Referral Certified (TRC). With the TRC designation Barbara is able to promote properties worldwide.
