I'm a Florida native, but have lived in many places including Germany, New York City, Atlanta, Charlotte, Maryland and the D.C. area before coming home to the land I love. As an oceanfront homeowner and investor in waterfront properties, I understand and appreciate the joys, responsibilities and "gotchas" of waterfront property. I sell what I know and enjoy.
Barbara has been on the Board of Directors for the redevelopment efforts in Vilano Beach since 1998 and has earned the name "Miss Vilano" from her fellow (and female) real estate agents. She was the 2007 President of the St. Augustine Regional Chapter of the Women's Council of REALTORS (WCR) more than doubling the size of the chapter and earning a Gold Award. Additionally, she is the chair of the Scenic & Historic A1A State Scenic Highway (A1A in St. Johns County) and the President of A1A Scenic & Historic Coastal Byway (aka Friends of A1A). A1A is a National Scenic Byway in St. Johns County and Flagler counties. She is actively involved and receives first-hand knowledge of projects that affect the beauty of this great road and is determined to preserve and protect the wonderful quality of life we have in this area of the world. Education is important to Barbara. She was graduated from Georgia Tech with highest honors with a degree in Industrial Engineering. She has 15 years technology experience with IBM, 2 years as a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch, 3 years as the owner/publisher of TravelHost of the First Coast and 9 years in Real Estate. She has earned the certified Internet professional designation, e-PRO, the Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI), the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and her broker's license. She has earned the At Home with Diversity Certification (AHWD) and is consistently a top producer in the area. Additionally, she can assist your International customers as she is Transnational Referral Certified (TRC). With the TRC designation Barbara is able to promote properties worldwide.
