About Us:
My name is Beverly - I have been appraising for 30 years - coming up to 16 years in Moreno Valley, CA. I hold the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute (www.appraisalinstitute.org). I was the Ventura County Chapter President in 1992. I try to uphold the highest appraisal standards and include information above and beyond the typical work in my profession; but try to keep my fees competative. I do not believe any appraiser can do creditable work covering large areas and prefer to keep my territory small (mostly Moreno Valley).
I have an appraisal e-book that is available for purchase - and have been published in working RE. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and an very active in a local appraisal forum. I will try to answer appraisal questions honestly and hopefully quickly.
Areas of Expertise
Residential real estate appraising - both drive-by and full inspection. I worked 2 years as a review appraiser - who strives to be fair in my reviews and believes it is important to fortify a week appraisal under review than drag it through the mud. Don't get me wrong I will highlight value affective flaws and put in my own conclusions, but see little benefit to slam other appraisers.
I can do relocation work that requires indepth market analysis, I have been doing foreclosure appraisals for half of my appraisal life and can do a fantastic forensic review and have done several valuations using older dates of value (retrospective appraisals).
I Promise
I promise to always be honest, even when that is not what people may want to hear. I believe we can deal with the truth (even when we do not want to), it is the lies and deceptions that cause such angst. We are in tricky times for real estate, hopefully we will get through the hard times and come out the other end wiser and richer.
