Nice to Meet You!
My stomping ground is "south of the river" in the Twin Cities. I grew up in Rosemount, and have spent 2/3 of my life in cities around here: Rosemount, Eagan, Lakeville and such. The gravel roads where I learned to drive are now mini-freeways, and our farm has about 600 houses on it (with mature trees!). To me, the Minnesota Zoo is still "the new zoo" and it's over 30 years old. Yes, I've been here forever.
Helping people achieve value in buying and selling their home is my passion. I love educating clients on strategy, trends, legislative changes and the like, and putting it all to their best advantage. I absolutely LOVE to negotiate on my clients' behalf and am not afraid to work through the [sometimes thorny] issues. If I don't know the answer, I'll find out. I hold a Minnesota general contractor's license, but you don't want me framing a house! Steve handles the projects for his business www.GreatAmericanRemodeling.com, and I take care of the contracts, project management, and accounting. I have also completed the National Association of Home Builders "Aging in Place" course because we want to be able to help people stay in their homes as they age.
My clients will tell you that I follow through and get things done. For example, four years ago I started an independent, weekly networking group as part of my marketing effort. Today we stand at 35 members. Our goal this year is to exchange $175,000 in closed business and we have reached 90% of goal already! I am so proud of our group, and am grateful for their trust and commitment.

First time homebuyers are my favorites! It is always so exciting to explore their new home possibilities, and they are hungry for any and all the information I can send their way. These days my buyers use technology the way their parents used the phone, and I'm lucky to have spent 20 years in information technology to keep up with them.
With my background in construction, I'm a great agent if someone is looking for a fixer-upper. I have rehabbed houses with my husband myself (I LOVE the demo!). This helps me spot potential issues while providing realistic costs estimates for repairs. We have all the qualified sub-contractors on call for specialty work such as roofing, siding, windows, carpet, cabinetry, flooring, plumbing, electrical, painting, countertops, millwork....you name it and we can get the buyer all of the expert assistance needed to make a sound buying decision.
