Long time "Outer Banker"-  My husband and made the journey to the Outer Bankers close to 25 years ago.  It has been a great adventure.  We have four children three girls and one boy and their ages are 24, 22, 18, 16.  I ,also, have a granddaughter that is almost three and of course wonderful! The Outer Banks is a great place to raise a family! Lot's of opportunities for the children and great schools.  I have been involved in many activities over the years, Chamber of Commerce Ambassdor, Kwianis, Substitute Teacher, Girl Scout Leader, Eastern Surfing Association, Dare Literacy Program, Youth leader at church. 

I like to play tennis and golf (but not outstanding at either).  I have done a trialthon, half-marathon but a little out of shape now.  I also like to read- I have just read two great books-"The World is Flat" and "The Extreme Future".  I highly recommend them.  What is better than a great book and chair and the seaside?
