About Us:
Originally from the Morristown area of New Jersey, Dave McHugh has been living in the Vail Valley since 1992. He crossed the country to attend the University of Colorado in Boulder, taking classes in architecture and participating on the CU Ski Team. The entrepreneurial spirit caught him early, driving him to start a contractor business specializing in building and remodeling homes. All the while Dave has made sure to include skiing, snowboarding, telemarking, biking, and tennis in his life.
Dave’s passion for everything surrounding the real estate industry combined with a love of the outdoors soon brought him to Telluride, Colorado. There he was a manager at a five star spa. Not long after Dave moved to his current hometown of Eagle-Vail, where he often enjoys a not so easily accessible out-of-bounds trek home via the extreme skiing Stone Creek Trail in Beaver Creek.
Starting his Valley working career in a ski shop, Dave has worked in many different service industries. He has a strong background in architecture and building practices, and an extensive history of customer service.
Six years ago, Dave began working directly with Kenton Hopkins. Together, they have garnered positive relationships with everyone who walks through the door, keeping customer service at the fore of every interaction.
Dave loves what he does, and enjoys helping the people he meets. In his own words, “Real Estate is a relationship. It’s more than just one transaction; it’s a friendship.”
