About Ben

Ben Baker has been in the business of listening to and serving those seeking to buy, sell or lease residential real estate since 1990.  His unwavering dedication and personal customer service to his clients is proven by the fact that more than 90% of Ben's annual business comes from repeat clients or their referrals to others.

Ben joined the Dallas Preston Road office Keller Williams in February 2001 and was consistently been recognized as one of its top producers, including being the 7th top individual agent in 2004.  In early 2005, he became a co-owner of the Dallas Metro East office of Keller Williams, located in Wylie.  He is on the Agent Leadership Council there. This is the second ownership stint for Ben, having been a co-owner and operations driver for for a Realty Executives office in Plano, prior to joining Keller Williams.  Being on the operations and leadership side of the business gives Ben additional knowledge and expertise to serve his broad client base. 

Ben graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor of business administration degree with a concentration in real estate in May 1988.  He was a flanker for the Baylor Bears football team from 1983 - 1988.  Ben remains active in Baylor activities, having served as a director of the Baylor B Club and currently is serves the Baylor Black Alumni Association.  He also is a year-round volunteer basketball coach for the Plano Sports Authority, coaching his sons' basketball teams, and is a frequent volunteer at his children's schools. 

Ben was born and raised in Plano, Texas.  In 2006, Ben was inducted in the Panther Football Hall of Fame at his high school alma mater, Plano East High School. He and his family reside in Far North Dallas.
