About Me:

Benjamin P. Edwardson is a Certified Mortgage Planner in Shasta County Redding, CA.  Benjamin helps his clients understand the mortgage market so that they walk away feeling great about their transaction.  Mortgage Planning isn’t for everybody and that is why most lenders & loan officers aren’t mortgage planners.  The major difference between Mr. Edwardson & other lenders is the knowledge of the actual mortgage bond market and skills to close fast.  Anybody can fill out a mortgage loan application and anybody can call themselves a loan officer.  Very few can say they understand the market and very few can follow through with their promises.  Benjamin is committed to you from Start to Finish.

        MegaStar is a mortgage banker not a mortgage broker. Our loans are processed, underwritten and funded using MegaStar's systems. MegaStar has its own funding line.  MegaStar does business in 33 states and is National Direct Endorsement lender for the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

        Anita Padilla, is at the forefront of Megastar's success, started the company in 1999. As the founder and owner, Anita has worked in the mortgage industry for almost thirty years. She had a vision for the industry and put this vision into action with Megastar's service standards. Her idea was simple, to improve customer service in regards to the real estate transaction. She did this through two tactics: creating a corporate culture of accountability, and building technology that could move data efficiently throughout the entire transaction.
