We would like to acknowledge the excellent service received from Laura Berman, Owner and Broker of United Country Realty.
She displayed a vast wealth of information in many areas of her service. Her knowledge of various locations was extremely important to us as it helped clarify in our minds the community that would soon be a home to us and our children and their grandparents.
In search for our home, Laura was very attentive to not just our needs but our wants. Our necessity to find a home accommodating our parents was challenging; needing access on one level adjacent to the main home with no stairs involved! Laura kept our priorities at the top of her list. She had a keen awareness to visualize possibilities that were not initially apparent to us.
Laura's proficiency in the process of administration has been equally appreciated. Attention to detail, from offer lettter through close of escrow, was outstanding, We had the assurance that she had our best interest at heart at all times.
Of course a perk to all her characteristics is her love for the country life and handling all kinds of golden nuggets. We know where to buy flowers, who to call to remove poison oak, care of well and septic systems, and should our children develop a love for horses, we may have to hire her to glean her expertise in that area as well!
It must also be brought to attention, that we were thoroughly impressed with Laura's staff. Despite a ball fall resulting in her broker foot during our time of house shopping, Laura did not miss a beat. Directing her staff to come to our aid when she wasn't able, was handled with ease. We sensed a real bond of loyalty and friendship amount coworkers, who spoke praises affirming Laura's resourcefulness.

Dear Laura - Just received your thank you note for the closing of our escrow. Actually it's Don and I who should be thanking you. This real estate transaction was definitely the least troublesome we have ever had and we know it's because of your experience in the market place and the professional stall you have in the office.
The decision to put our property on the market during this slow period was difficult and further complicated by some of the less than optimistic advise we received from other brokers. Dear Laura - As you know, we have recently moved our horses onto our new place in Grass Valley - finally, a dream come true to escape the hectic pace of the Bay Area and relocate to such a beautiful and peaceful town.

Finding the home of your drams is no easy task. And finding the property to build your dream is even more difficult. We were new to the Grass Valley area and really have no idea where to begin our search for our Dream Property. We met with several Realtors but none semed to be able to find what we wanted. All the Realtors we met with did have one thing in common; they all recommended Laura Berman as the local Agent that knew Horses and Horse Property.

From the beginning, we had thought that purchasing property in Nevada County ws going to be difficult, particularly since our dealings with other prominent local agents had fallen well short of our expectations. Quite frankly, we had lost our faith in Realtors.
