A Communications graduate and Torchbearer from the University of Tennessee, Marilyn began a career in real estate after being an industry leader and pioneer in electronic media sales. Marilyn was the first female account executive of WSM AM/FM, the mother church of country music and home of The Grand Ole Opry. Marilyn was also the first female marketing sales consultant at WTVF, Nashville's CBS affiliate. Marilyn, a former president of American Women in Radio and Television, also served as program director for the retail board of thc Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.
