Description
My clients are generally looking for "2nd", vacation and/ or land to build homes upon. But the also want multi-family or land for investment purposes.

Beth's Story ...

I love looking at homes, walking land and relishing the views available to us in this wonderful location.  The only hurry I'm in is based upon your time table.  If you need something tomorrow, I'll gladly help you find it.  If it's next year, we can work on that together as well.  Some of my lower-48, and other Alaskan city, clients are planning their retirements out here, and they want to know the market well in advance of their arrival.  They have "shopping carts" full of property they've found through my automated e-mail services.  By the time they arrive, they have a "prime", secondary and a follow-up set of properties they want to see.  By the time they're ready, they know their market better than any Realtor! Here's my story ...

In 2001, after my husband and I had spent 20 years in other Alaskan Communities, we settled in the Greater Palmer Area.  In 2005, my husband looked at the phenomal growth that was occurring in the area, turned to me and said, "We should get our Real Estate licenses.  You know a lot about Real Estate, there aren't a lot of IT opportunities out here, and you need to stop commuting to Anchorage."  I agreed to try Real Estate.

Bill thought I knew a lot about Real Estate because I am a member of the 3rd of 4 generations to work in the industry.  My maternal grandfather was a builder and the paternal one was an investor.  My mother, father, and an aunt were brokers and one uncle (that I know of) was/ is a "retired" Real Estate attorney.  I have at least two cousins who are Realtors, and my brother is a mason.  I personally know two 2nd cousins who are also in Real Estate, and Mom says she thinks that there are couple more in each generation.  I can honestly say, "it's in the blood".  Bill also thought this because around our dinner tables, real estate is a primary topic of conversation ~ we tend to avoid politics, especially now-a-days.

The Matanuska Susitna Borough (not a county in sight), is so large that much of it is not road-accessible.  But that doesn't stop my husband and I from jumping in our car, truck or on the motorcycle, to travel its furthest accessible reaches.  I love this area so much, and my clients all seem to enjoy different parts of it.  So, it's not unusual for me to put 500 miles on my car a week during the summer, and that's just showing property (land, homes and multi-family)!

We have six major identifiable communities in the MSB, and several minor ones.  I tend to concentrate my efforts in the Palmer to Big Lake areas.  If you want Eureka, Houston, Willow, Talkeetna or more remote, I know some EXCELLENT Realtors, specializing in those areas, to whom I can refer you!

I'm looking forward to working with you!  bethf ;-)
