A little bit about me:

My name is James Jeter, a Credit Consultant for The Credit Repair Guys.  As a former loan officer, processor, and manager, I've seen the rise and fall of the sub-prime industry.  It wasn't so long ago that I was closing loans with clients with bad credit with many companies that are now out of business due to the Sub-Prime Implosion.  In the last year alone, we have seen a cataclysmic change in the mortgage industry as many companies went bankrupt, dropped their wholesale lending divisions, or went out of business all together.  I personally closed a loan for a client with a 485 credit score with no money down.  Those days are long gone.  The existing sub-prime companies have restructured their guidelines so much that unless your client has a ton of money down or substantial equity, a loan is nearly impossible to get for them.  The ripple, excuse me, the wave that the collapse of that segment extends into the A-paper market as well, as most lenders have raised their credit score standards and have altered their underwriting guidelines as well.  With the average person not being a 680+ FICO, getting loans done at 100% LTV are increasingly difficult to accomplish.

I've traveled that road, and unfortunately, I decided to take do something different.  As a loan originator, the greatest feeling I had was helping someone who dreamed of owning a home but couldn't.  Utilizing my lenders and programs that I had at my disposal, I was able to get my clients' loans approved.  To tell my client, who thought homeownership was an improbability, that they were approved was an incredible feeling.  To be able to be the one to help them accomplish a dream of theirs was more rewarding than the commission I got on the loan.  I have always tried to live by the golden rule,"Do unto others..."  That was one of my foundations when I was a loan originator and a manager.  Now I'm able to do that for my clients and my fellow real estate professionals.  I'm able to help restore a person's credit which leads them to have a second chance to fulfill their wants and needs while I help you, the realtors and loan originators, sell more houses, close more loans, and build your business.  As much as I am here to help your clients achieve their goals, I'm here to help you achieve yours as well!  I look forward to working with you all real soon!

The Credit Repair Guys is a LEGAL credit repair company operating per the Credit Repair Organizations Act as set forth by the Federal Trade Commission as well as the Texas Finance Code.  There are many credit repair companies out there to choose from, and some of them are members of Active Rain as well.  While there are many non-reputable credit companies out there, making a ton of promises and delivering short term results, if anything at all, there are a handful in this industry spent on truly helping restore your clients credit and do a great job at it.  We fall into the later group, delivering positive results to our clients and helping them attain and maintain good credit and higher credit scores!

We utilize a process only a handful in this industry utilize.  This is a multi-stage process that goes beyond the out dated process of sending form letters to the credit bureaus that many other companies still employ.  The results are rarely permanent, and can be done by your clients on their own for free.  Furthermore, we go beyond just credit repair.  While our primary goal is to raise your clients' credit score and clean up their credit profile, we pride ourselves in educating your client on how to maintain their credit by helping them reestablish themselves and use their newly restored credit wisely.  We show them how to improve their scores and keep their credit reports clean.  That way, when they're ready for a refinance or another home down the line, you'll have nothing to worry about.

Our program lasts no more than 6 months, with some clients achieving optimal results in less time.  Plus, while your client is enrolled in our program, you and your client will receive updates of the progress that is being made.  Also, our exclusivity agreement with you means we will never refer your client to another realtor and/or originator.  On top of that, any referrals sent to us by your client will be given your information only, and with their approval, their information will be sent to you as well.
