Description:Your Humboldt County Resource and Real Estate Consultant

Here to Help!

I help my clients through one of life's major transitions...buying/selling their home.  I'm there as a consultant...to listen to your needs, handle all the details, negotiate the best terms possible for you, as well as educate you about the area, and the real estate process.  I feel it is important that you know all of your options so that you make an informed decision.  In the end it's YOUR decision and I will do what you ask of me.  Is buying and selling real estate stressful?  You bet, but it can be a lot of fun too.  My goal is not only to reduce your stress, but to help you see that the experience of buying or selling a home can also be a fun experience.  So are you ready for the adventure?  Well let's get started then :).

Areas of Expertise/Community

I specialize in residential homes in Eureka/Cutten, Arcata, Ferndale and Trinidad, California.   I also specialize in Older Homes like Craftsman, Victorian, California Bungalows, etc.

 ABOUT ME

I've lived in Humboldt County for over 8 years now and just fell in love with the area and decided to stay.  I originally came to Humboldt to pursue a Wildlife Biology career but ended up doing some soul searching and realized that working in business directly with people fit my personality better.  So I regrouped and built my business, customer service and communications skills while I was Promotions Director for our local radio stations KHUM, KSLG and KWPT(The Point) and within the last couple of years made the switch over to real estate.

MY HOBBIES

I love walking around my neighborhood and downtown with Benjamin my dog, who's a Shepard mix and looking at all the old architecture (We have many Victorians and Craftsman and old commercial buildings) .  I swear it never gets old for me.    I love the fact that there is so much to do recreationally in Humboldt County.  My husband and I love  mushroom hunting, bird watching or just walking along the beach.  And of course let's not forget about hiking in the Redwood Forest.  It's always such an awe-inspiring experience.

Humboldt - A Better Quality of Life

The Humboldt County Visitor Center stated that people come to visit Humboldt County to see the Redwood Trees, but once they get here they realize that we have so much more to offer.

Humboldt county is settled between San Francisco and the Oregon border.  Just a 5 hour drive from San Francisco and maybe 2  1/2 hours drive from the wine country.  Humboldt County is still one of the last affordable coastal areas to live in the state of California.  It boasts incredible Redwood Forests, Pristine Rivers, Beautiful Sand Dunes, Historical Architecture, it's own wine vineyards, and great FRESH seafood!

It's perfect for the outdoor enthusiast: great hiking on many of its coastal or inland trails, great for birdwatching, river/bay/ocean kayaking, surfing, hunting, fishing just to mention a few.

We have an incredible art and music community too, tons of festivals including Godwit Days for the birder in you, Oyster Festival for the oyster lover in you, plus several weekly Farmer's Markets and don't forget about Arts Alive once a month.

Where else can you get fresh seafood right off the docks? - Tuna, Wild Salmon, Oysters, and Dungeanous Crab!

Plus we have some of the modern conveniences that many require- Borders Bookstore, Target, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Natural Food and Specialized Food Stores as well as quaint local stores with lots of appeal.

So really, we're not as remote as you think!   Want to know more about what Humboldt County has to offer?               Call me  at 707-496-5770  or shoot me an email by clicking on that email link at the top of my profile.
