- Description
- The real estate business can be enjoyable but it's a business that should be taken very seriously. When I work with a client I do my best to ensure they are well advised before making decisions.
About Me:
Well, let's really define who I am.
- Graduated from Vienna High School in Vienna, Illinois as part of class of '88
- Proudly served in the US Navy as an Electronics Technician from 1989 to 1995. For nearly 4 years of service I served onboard the USS Oldendorf. This was a Spruance class destroyer. That ship is now at the bottom of the Pacific serving reef duty for fish. My notable accomplishment during my tour aboard ship was being awarded a Navy Achievement Medal for my work on the ship's Novell network.
- In 1996, I began working at VCI Internet Services in Paducah, KY as the first dedicated customer support technician. During my time at VCI I added network and server administration and web page designer to my list of responsibilities. My notable accomplishments during this time are obtaining a Cisco Certified Network Associate certification and Security+ and Network+ CompTIA certifications.
- In 2001, I married and now have two wonderful kids - a boy and girl. Children will most certainly teach the impatient person to be patient. My wife is a real "go getter". After working in the medical field for many years she quit that career and opened up Trendy Repeats.
- In 2007, I obtained my Kentucky real estate license to pursue a different line of work. Being a self employed real estate agent allowed me to spend more time with my family, allowed me to get out of the office more and provide enough income to at least be comfortable. Talking with many people from different walks of life has always been interesting as well. Having watched the real estate market for some time and noticing a LOT of yard signs popping up during the real estate boom of '06 I decided real estate would be my next career choice.
My son, Charles, frequently accompanies, and assists, me with open houses. It's quite a treat to see a 9 year old switch to sales mode!
Not to be left out, my daughter, Ashley (13), can run the day-to-day operations of our store. She can stand her ground with the grumpy customers too!
Services:
As a real estate agent I will work with any buyer or seller who needs assistance. Residential property sales are most frequent but commercial sales can be very appealing as well. As each sale is a unique transaction, the more transactions you take part in the more knowledge we attain for the next one.
