This is the Results Show for the Parkside of Alexandria Auction on Sun. Oct 28 at Hilton in Alexandria. As background make sure you read: Parkside Alexandria 47% Off Auction About 300 people showed up. Of which, over 100 were registered buyers with an auction number. About 50% of those had attended an auction practice the night before. Also about 75% of the 100 were 1st-timers at an auction.

Hi, It's me again with the picture thing. I held on to an old picture on my business card for so long because I didn't want to accept the fact that I was getting old! The younger picture of me looked sooo cute. So I took another picture after several past clients commented that "I have changed companies, but not the picture, and it's been the same for years" Then another past client teasing me said "when will I be getting my daughter's picture off of my business card!"

What does adoption and real estate have in common? Well, nothing really, except Kevin and I are foster and adoptive parents. So, there is you air tight connection – LOL.
When selecting a real estate agent to work with hopefully the professional you select will have some if not most of these consistent themes. If they do, you have something good working for you.
Over the past year a new phenomenon has hit the the United States from the world Down Under. It's called an Australian Mortgage and refers to a financial strategy that's been used in the Australian and European markets for many years. 
I hear it from other agents ALL the time, that "buyers are liars." While I have had my share (or more) of buyers who tell me they want one thing, then buy something different, I just cannot believe that so many intend to be deceptive. I think, from my own experience, that it can be very difficult to clarify exactly what it is we want. We say things like, "Well, I need 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a big yard. If you enjoy wine, you've got to check out East Wenatchee's Martin Scott Winery (www.martinscottwinery.com). They cover the whole spectrum in terms of wine products, but their big bold reds are particularly good. Halloween 2007 is officially over, even though I still seem to have a Superman and a Cinderella running around my living room.
