From what I have heard this book covers material and pictures not in the history books. So if you are a student of presidential history this is your opportunity to listen and talk to Mr. Landau an authority on the subject.

I've been really bummed out about Active Rain and about blogging all together. When I see bloggers I know, blogging on various platforms, guest blogging, on one web site or another I'm jealous. My heart really does sink, I can actually feel it sink. Many of us A.R. started at the same time, but it seems others have progressed so much more than I have. At one time I was invited to sit on a panel about blogging, but when the schedule was announced my name wasn't on it.

I am sure many of you know about this. But this for people who don't know about this story. I just found out about this story myself today. A Real Estate broker who brokered deals with celebrities included Billy Joel,Sting and Steven Spielberg was found dead in a pool of blood around her head in her Fifth Avenue penthouse by one of her two daughters by a month ago. Taking Time For Family - 08:40 PM
Today was a good day. Good days need a good start, and this morning was just cozy time.
A morning of sleeping in and watching an old movie with my wife. Simple things like this mean more to me now. An hour or two of just us in the morning is a treasured time. Usually its up by 5:30 to get scurrying about for the day. Lately we have both been so busy, and I have been putting a bit more burden on her at her job by asking that she do more for me in my new endeavours.

Recently....the family decided that we would go to the dreaded mall and finish our holiday shopping. Most of the presents we had already purchased came from the Internet...but there are just some things we need to feel before we buy.
Anywhoo...we figured that if we had a bite first then we would have more energy to walk around and hopefully less money to spend. All kidding aside....we attempted to experience some good ol'e fashion "mall food". We found what resembled a food court but looked more like an unorganized carnival.

I noticed another unannounced change in Activerain today. Did you notice that when you click on your home page that all of our links are now in bold. Was this a mistake..a trick or an illusion? I thought maybe my freekin eyeballs were popping out of my head or I was under the influence.
It was probably of those geeks up in Washington trying to add more improvements as our community changes. Get used to it because I'm sure there are more to come.

I was a huge Evel fan. I was the kid with the 20-inch ape-hanger handlebarrd, banana seated Schwinn. Who would ride like the wind and hit a home-made ramp and jump as far as I could. I look back and the jumps I would make are nothing that those kids are doing today, but it was scary for me. I would jump as far as I could, as high as I could and I would as fast as I could.
