Winds of Change - 09:49 PM
So with the changing market I decided to change jobs. Thought I could totally get out of the business. Little did I realize that I could still make a difference in people's lives. Many have come to me still looking for a mortgage or a good realtor. After a couple of months of referring them to the company I use to work for, I decided to take on a new adventure. Now when I have clients with questions, I speak to them about their needs and find the best company out there to help them. While I am not brokering, I

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you from RLH Holdings and the Forever Wealth Club. I hope that your 2007 was a great year and I hope that 2008 turns out to be even better. 2007 was a great year for me personally. I learned a lot this year about multiple streams of income, I learned the law of attraction, got engaged, started new companies (Title Company and a Real Estate brokerage with some partners), became a national speaker for a real estate education company and overall had a lot of fun. I did already write an article on having a

Joy To The World - 08:47 AM
The carefully wrapped presents are unwrapped now. Shreds of papers strewn about. Some glittery bows catch my eye. The kids are playing with some of their new gifts. A couple of people are back in bed sleeping since they got up so early. We celebrated Noche Buena last night. This morning we sang happy birthday to Jesus (the Reason for the Season) before making the rounds with the gifts. Since our labor intensive celebration was last night, we have an easy day ahead of us. I have nothing planned but to enjoy the day with my family. But I wanted to come

What Daisy the Beagle Received for Christmas! - 09:50 AM
by Jack Boardman We must go back a few days, when we were discussing what each of us desired for Christmas. There is, of course no guarantee that what one wishes, one will receive—a long Christmas tradition in our home—Ya never really know what (if anything) yer gonna get—it makes for a delightful feeling of mystery and anticipation on Christmas morn! So anyway, here’s part of a discussion I had with our Beagle, Daisy-Legs: “So, hound, what is it you desire for Christmas this year? For a Beagle, you’ve been pretty good.” “Welll, ya know Alpha-Jack, I’d really like something different

Great Wolf Resort Plans - 09:46 PM
News about Forsyth County Georgia about more than $20M incentives offered by our local government to attract a Great Wolf Lodge resort featuring an indoor water park comes at an interesting time. Forsyth County Real Estate residents are under severe water restrictions and Lake Lanier faces record-breaking low levels. With all the current controversy about water supply and consumption and the problems with Lake Lanier, and no end to the drought in sight, how does an indoor water park figure into the future of Cumming? Just a thought with everything else that is going on in Cumming and Forsyth County and all of North Georgia.

A Lowball offer stinks! - 10:04 PM
Receiving a low offer is disappointing. But, before rejecting it, try to find out something about the buyers and, particularly why they offered the price they did.The Atlanta Home buyer could be used to negotiating in his line of work. For such a buyer, offering less than the asking price may be nothing more than business as usual, and I have seen this tactic in action. Buyers want to buy at the lowest price possible, just as sellers want the highest price possible. Don't fault a buyer for trying to get a property at the lowest possible price, particularly if he's well

Extensive planning has been put into Canton Marketplace according to the chatter in the local circles. The entire center is to be completed by summer of 2009.Sembler projects under development in the northern Atlanta area near Cherokee County include Cumming Town Center in Cumming, Deerfield Place in Milton and Dawson Marketplace in Dawsonville. The Comeback Kid....Surround yourself with positive people! - 10:31 AM
Wow. The last week has flown by in a blur. I am finishing up my last week in a full time job. YIPPPEEE! Holiday shopping, parties and lots of stress. I find myself spending a lot of time thinking about what I need to do and what my goals for 2008 are. And of course getting anxious about it. I have lots of ideas and positive energy which is good. I am actually starting to believe I can really make this happen. And all the positive feedback has been great for me. I had dinner with an old boss and friend last Tuesday, I will
