For most of my life, keeping track of my keys has been a challenge. If it weren’t for the intervention of my favorite saint, St. Anthony, I’d waste even more time looking frantically through my house or office for the darned keys.One of last year’s New Years resolutions was to get the key thing under control. I ran across a post on Active Rain that pointed me to an outside article that talks about the need for at least a 20% reduction in home prices in order for families to be able to afford to buy. Well, I love it when there are specific claims and statistics. I can usually verify and refute or support specifics. When someone tosses out some general and off the cuff stats, they can’t be verified.
According to a Wall Street Journal article fraud is one of the major causes of some 50% of default sub-prime loans. Fraud maybe something small like overstating income or some large and grand scheme. The article sites examples of schemes in Atlanta that required at least 3 willing participants A Lender, A Lawyer and A Buyer ... some are more complex.
"Yes on 1-Save our Homes NOW," the FAR-supported campaign that advocates passage of the property tax amendment going before voters in January, recently unveiled a new Web commercial highlighting Orlando residents Keith and Elizabeth Markowitz. The Markowitzes have a growing family and need a bigger home; and portability, according to Keith, will "help us afford more house. It's going to help us attain our dream." According to Gov. I have a few military bases near me and I would love to add a page to my site to help them out. I was in the military for four years and have some understandings of their needs.
