Don't let your dreams slip away invest in Branson Today!  This virtually untouched real estate frontier is one of the last of its kind in the US.
Branson Area:
The Ozarks Regions has unsurpassed, unique, special beauty that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Usually described as Mountains, the Ozarks actually consist of many different types of terrain; hills and hollows, forests and meadows, bluffs and valleys.
This legendary beauty is presented in the gently rolling hillsides, mysterious caves, and clear lakes and streams. In the spring, the hills come to life with the blooms of redbud and dogwood trees. Wildflowers sprinkle … (0 comments)

Children and Nature - 11:34 PM
This evening we had an experience I am not likely to forget soon. We were in our yard in Wyckoff. We had just finished eating dinner and the kids were playing in the yard. My son yelled that there was a dead mouse in the yard (my wife isn't very fond of mice). Being the man  I went to investigate, I wasn't sure what it was, then I noticed another one. The other one looked like it had a broken nose. Not knowing what to do and my daughter getting really upset, I did what anyone else would do. I googled … (6 comments)

Lender Failed to Do Job - Client Suffers - 12:23 AM
Lenders are you blaming the troubled waters of the mortgage industry instead of stepping up to the plate and doing your job?  Ok... I know that most mortgage professionals are on top of things, just like most REALTORS® are.
I have a contract in escrow and the lender has had next to zero communication with me.  Calls go unreturned, emails are not answered and I have to call the buyer to get updates.  Early in the week the buyer informed me that his loan had changed.  When I asked him how it had changed he informed me that the original lender … (29 comments)

Diving in to the Bloggospere - 06:04 PM
I thought I had ventured in here once before with assistance from a team memebre, but months later I log in again and see I'm pretty much a non-Blog entity. So here I am you strange new "community" of type-talkers.
Who am I?  In short (I've read that's how you like it), I am a 24 year real estate broker, all but 60 days with Remax 100 in Golden/Lakewood, Colorado. I have a medium size team and rank in the top 1% or Realtors nationally. I am married with children, three daughters ages seven to twenty.

Oahu, Hawaii and the Current Real Estate Market - 07:07 PM
The Real Estate Market on Oahu, Hawaii
By: David Kucic (RA) GRI, ABR, e-PRO
What is really going on? Why are homes staying on the market longer than usual?  What happened to the real estate market that made everyone excited about purchasing a property a little over a year ago?
The truth of the matter is that there are several factors that are driving our current market such as supply and demand, interest rates and loan programs available to buyers.
One of the major issues right now is with "Mortgages".  Of course, cash buyers won't have this problem. The lending industry has taken a real beating lately because … (7 comments)

Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act (SSCRA or SCRA) as Posted by a Hawaii Real Estate Agent - 08:42 PM
By: David J. Kucic RA, ABR, AHWD, e-PRO, GRIFirst Sergeant, USA (Retired)Tropic Lightning Real Estate, Oahu, Hawaii
Recently I was asked by Active Rain member John Occhi if I could get him some information on the Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act for him.  John knew that I was retired from the military in Hawaii and served in a position that would have given me knowledge about this program.  Since it has been several years since I retired from Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, I decided to make an appointment with the Judge Advocate Generals Office and obtained some information about the program to insure nothing had … (0 comments)

A Celebrity in our Soulful Midst... - 06:35 PM
I ran across this funny little blog the other day by Jessica Horton- sort of a Jeff Foxworthy-esque commentary on real estate in a southern town. Being a recent transplant to the south myself, I thought it was hilarious. And, unfortunately a few of these ring a little close to home. But that's a different story.
Anyway, I want to welcome Jessica Horton to the Selling Soulfully group and tell you that you oughta check out her website. She's kinda famous!!!
I'm always impressed by those who rise to the top of their profession...
Hint - think "30 Under 30"...

Sweet Tea - 07:07 PM
One of the biggest differences between me and Maureen Henry - Rockland Home Staging  is that she doesn't get southern cooking!
The girl has never ate grits.  She told me that she ate collard greens for the first time and threw them out!  Can you believe that?
Southerners make the best iced tea you'll find. I think it is because we put love into what we do or because we have GREAT WATER!
So here it is my sweet tea recipe...
3 Family Size Tea Bags2 Cups Of Cold Water1 Cup of Sugar
Place the two cups water in a pot and add the tea bags. … (22 comments)

Fall River Ma Home Buyers Mortgage Rates have dropped- Buy now - 06:58 PM
Fall River Ma Real Estate- Home Mortgage rates dropped 3 weeks in a row they are at 5.75% !!!! as of Aug. 18 2007  in June they were an average 6.86 %.  I understand that many buyers are "waiting" for home prices to drop, & many homes have been reduced but it is very important to also shop for the best possible mortgage rate as the rate can make a difference of 100's of dollars.
