What makes a Realtor choose a specific company? I am asking this question to see what make someone happy within there specific company that they work for be it re/max,Coldwell Banker,Keller Williams, or just  your local real estate company like the one I work for Solid Source Realty In Atlanta. I chose this company because it allows me to work at my own pace without huge office fees that accumulate even when I am not selling Homes In Atlanta.

Spam Phone Calls and E-mails - 09:39 PM
How many phone calls and E-mails do you get every day that you do not want to hear? Lets see...I get 3 calls per week from cold callers that will have my website on top of all of the search engines right away. I also win the Internet lottery every other week, and my bank accounts are limited at all of the hundreds of banks across the country as well. Georgia wins the Little League World Series Again! - 03:16 PM
   Columbus Ga had the winner of the Little League world series last year so we know how elated Warner Robins Ga is this year!   It is fun to be the best in the world at anything and I know those boys are still floating on cloud nine after there walk off home run against Japan.  
    We love baseball in this area if you cannot tell.   Phenix City won the national little league championship a few years ago!  Columbus and Phenix City have produced some great ball players including big Frank Thomas and Tim Hudson!

Are We About To See A New Definition of " Redlining " ? - 02:38 PM
Will the current credit crunch lead to creating  a new or quasi type of redlining by the major lenders and those that invest in the loans?
Is it possible that whole categories of borrowers, loan types and credit profiles are going to suddenly be shunned or priced so high that they will soon be out of reach?
If that happens, how will 2nd home purchasers, non-owner occupieds, high-rise condos and people with minimal cash available fare in the seeking and obtaining of affordable mortgages?

With all the problems ensconced in the sub-prime loan crisis, will investors who typically buy the ARM's ( Adjustable Rate Mortgage) , just refuse to buy them anymore?__________________________________________________________________________________________________
Seems that consumers are also getting the message that ARM's may no longer be an acceptable option. But the experts will tell you  that they have served many many consumers very well despite what  we are reading about them. Will the problems surrounding the riskier of them with the increasing numbers of defaults and foreclosures on the rise spell the death knell of the ARM.

Earlier today I read another article about how 'great' Feng Shui is and frankly it made me sick.
Before anyone looses their marbles, I'm not trying to attack anyones' philosophy / religion - what I'm talking about is the new breed of scam artist that calls it a 'science'  and uses the phrase as a way of ripping-off Consumers. 
People that are interested in decorating their Homes or Staging them so that they look as fantastic as possible to potential Buyers are spending a TON of money to get Feng Shui 'Masters' to do the job.

This is so frustrating- I sold a single gal her first investment in June. My husband and I went through the entire house with her going over the projects she should do for two scenarios: leasing the property or flipping it. She decided to keep it and rent, it, had our email and phone numbers and has been in contact for advice on applications and leases...

I had a good conversation today with a client about the different marketing decisions I would make if I were targeting type-in traffic vs. search engine traffic. A light bulb went off in his head as he started to realize he'd been forfeiting a lot of traffic to competitors by focusing too much on one strategy without the other.

SALES AND MEDIAN PRICES OF MAINE REAL ESTATE BOTH UP OVER FOUR PERCENT IN JULY
SOUTH PORTLAND (August 28, 2007) - Unit sales and median sales prices of Maine's single-family homes rose over four percent in July. According to the Maine Real Estate Information System, Inc., Realtors reported selling 4.26 percent more homes this July when compared to July 2006. Not only did sales increase: the median sales prices for the homes sold increased 4.74 percent.
