Not more than 3 hours after we launched the ad network Lenn emailed us saying, in effect: if I create 50 campaigns and have to charge my card 50 times the bank will disable it for fraud. Very good point, so we rewrote the financial end of the ad network yesterday.

It appears that many of the loan officers in the mortgage world have been searching and waiting for the subprime replacement program. These brokers/lenders appear, to me, to be largely made up of those who entered the mortgage markets in the last 3-5 years. And they know that subprime programs have to be replaced, because someone has to help these (unqualified) buyers purchase a home.
The Federal Reserve chairman, Ben Bernanke, came out today and offered his opinion on the cure for the mortgage mess. If the powers that be listen, I believe its the first step on the lengthy road to recovery.
If your chosen path in real estate is that of a rebate agent, good for you. If you work for Redfish, Zap, Rebates-R-Us, that's just fine with me. If you choose to earn one-dollar (or whatever)...no problem here, it's okie dokie with me and the sellers I represent. 
Yes, you heard me right, utilizing both as strategic tools can provide major benefits. I am not talking about using the MMA software per se, but rather the special HELOCS allowing you to use them as a checking account to provide interest cancellation. This strategy is not for everyone, but may provide huge benefits for those who decide to use it.
I have been struggling with whether I should write this one or not since February. For some reason, real estate is no different than any other social collective. People are comfortable talking about the "old" agent and the "new" agent. Big news for those from afar eyeing Contra Costa as their next home. I can't tell you how many times I've been called from those over 55 hoping to transfer their tax base from another county to Contra Costa. Alas, in the early 1990's, Contra Costa repealed Proposition 90 and it has been dead since. 
I recently posted at Leona Helmsley giving 12 million to her dog. Afterward I decided to do some more research on Leona Helmsley to figure out why she was called the "Queen of Mean". I always knew she had a negative reputation but I didn't know all the particulars. When her son died she decided to sue his estate (and his widow) saying they had borrowed money from her.
