This is something that we are told to do by everyone that is anybody in the real estate business, have a marketing plan.
Well surprise this is a basic function before starting any business, have a marketing plan.  Some people have the same plan they wrote down when they first were licensed, others look at it once a year and other make adjustments on a daily basis without making it part of a plan.

Well everyone I wanted to tell you about my first Short Sale. The Home sold for $750,000 January 2007 and is now on the market in an area that neighboring homes in better condition are listed at $650,000. The real kicker is that the home would probably appraise now at maybe $725,000 but the ten model match listings in the area are listed from a low of $530,000 ( another Short Sale ) to $669,000.

Today I had the honor of attending the ribbon cutting - opening ceremonies of Santa Clarita Valley's newest college campus.  
The College of the Canyons -- Canyon Country campus.
