Driving Traffic to Builder Model - 08:01 AM
I sit at a Sale Center Model for a local builder 3 to 4 days a week.  Normally it would be a good place to meet prospects.  The problem is that you have to have traffic to have prospects.  Since I do not work for the builder there are limits on what I can do.  I have tried placing different signs on the road, added new direction signs, balloons, flags, etc. but it seems that there is no interest in these homes or subdivision.  The subdivision and homes are very nice.  The prices for the homes are good.  But for some … (7 comments)

The town of Foley was founded by Chicago businessman John Burton Foley in the early 1900's.  The town grew as a result of the railroad line being extended south to what is now present day downtown Foley.  The new railroad station allowed the shipping of South Baldwin produce and other agricultural products to other areas in the Southeast United States.

1.  You can save the agents commission, There is no commission to be paid.
2.  You have complete control over marketing, advertising, showings and negotiating.You can sell it at your own lesiure.

1. All marketing and advertising costs are your own, Marketing is expensive and unreliable. 
2. You attract the wrong kind of buyers.

Follow ups are KEY! - 11:01 AM
Ok, I hear alot of great ideas on how people follow up with their clients, customers, and potential customers.
I have my ways that have worked and I have my ways that have not worked. I am here inquiring on what has worked for you in 2 situations - 1. being how do you follow up after a meeting with a potential client (ie. phone calls, mail outs, etc) and 2. being how do you follow up after a transaction being closed - a deal closing?
I am interested to hear how people retain their business, their clients, their customers.

I do a lot of Email Marketing to get my info and name out there...  
When sending out an email to a potential client of mine (YOU) I have tried every method. Some work GREAT and some never get responded to! Sitting at your desk and checking your emails of course you get a ton of spam like anyone else, but what makes you decifer between spam and "hmm, I'll open this and check it out" ?

I am of course talking about BlogRush.com  Lots of people are saying BlogRush is a pyramid scheme.
I blogged about BlogRush on ActiveRain and my real blog ColumbusBestBlog.com.  I have a nice little pyramid base of my own to balance my ancient Egyptian burial structure on.

Mmmmm, Frostop! - 05:57 PM
On a recent Saturday morning, I took my family on a field trip to Huntington, West Virginia.  We visited the Pink Bridge at Ritter Park, had lunch and shopped at Pullman Square and then on the way out, stopped at Frostop for a root beer.
There is no better root beer.  Period.
Frostop takes me back to my teenage years, when cars were a novelty and we had nothing but free time and lots of friends to share it with.  One sip of that super creamy root beer took me back in time.  Funny how a taste can make you feel … (23 comments)

Novato's Top 10 Reasons for Future Price Appreciation - 01:07 PM
Below are a few factors which point to Novato as a place with a bright future.
1) The widening of HWY 101, now in its final stage, is on target for a Fall 2008 completion. Because of current construction, traffic going south on HWY 101 can be bad. Traffic woes are expected to be reduced dramatically (by as much as 20 minutes from Novato to San Francisco -- and this is 20 off the commute time pre-construction when traffic was much lighter). I think this factor alone will propel prices upwards once work is done.
