I had already walked through the home, so I knew what needed to happen in order for the home to sell quickly. The owners asked me to be very honest about the condition of their home, and wanted me to be brutally honest. I don't sugar coat listings, so being completely upfront and blunt about their home was not a problem for me.

In the real estate profession, we are expected to look our best so that we can make a good impression. After all, if you rolled out of bed, jumped into your car, and went to meet a client, it would not be ideal for doing business. So why shouldn't we do whatever we can to make our blog look its best also? This is particularly important to those of us that are here to generate business from consumers and referrals from other agents. Many newbies are inspired to start posting, but don't know where to begin.
Recently in my local newspaper, there was a story on a young woman with young children that found themselves very ill from the effects of a methamphetamine home. This young mother had bought what she that was her dream home for her and her children, it has become her nightmare. She had to vacate the home and has been forced into dealing with not only litigation against the seller but now also foreclosure on the property. Recently my son's have had a few things to deal with...unique and life altering. My youngest son Bob 22 , lost a childhood friend...recently shot and killed by police. This post is not about the police or even the chain of events that occurred but that fact that sometimes you just have to let family and friends mourn...without cruel words attached.

Does the look of neighboring houses effect the value of your house? Do you have a neighbor who doesn't mow their lawn as often as you would like? Or even if they mow it, is the yard all weeds instead of grass? Do you have a neighbor who loves huge rose bushes, but doesn't know how to maintain them, so they make the house look really bad and not taken care of?
I've just been on a buying spree with 1 and 1 and scooped up several condo url sites. I'm thinking of collaborating with several agents in college markets to really get the rankings up on a blogsite for student condos. If you work with student parents ONLY for purchases or sales and it constitutes a large portion of your business and you know the local condo market extremely well I'd like to talk to you about collaborating on this. Hi folks. Here's a little tip for you that may help you in your business. This post was inspired by Jennifer Kirby's post "What Sellers Really Want is to be Lied to..." and several others I have recently read.
I'm sure this has been discussed many times, but why is it that other agents hijack our listings on Zillow? I mean, its NOT ok to advertise another broker's listings in "real life", so why in Zillow World do they feel so free to "claim" YOUR listings as their own? I looked around other nearby area homes and I see this same agent has claimed about every available/for sale listing (including the pendings) as her own listing. Does she just not know? It looks like the wait will be over in 2013 when the first cars are able to make the trip across the Mid County Currituck Bridge that will connect mainland Currituck to Corolla. This will dramatically reduce the travel time , some predict up to 2 hours, for tourists that for years had to wait in miles of traffic to get to Southern Shores, Duck, & Corolla as they made their way to the Outer Banks for vacation. The report is just in and the results are astounding. Throughout Snohomish County we see many builders from the very large to the very small, the quality compared to price builders (shown by the higher Avg. $/Sq.Ft) and who offers the most Avg. Sq.Ft across their new construction homes. 
The "phishing" industry is morphing their tactics as people are becoming wise to their past methods. These criminals learn quickly and are becoming more sophisticated in ways to fool you.I just received the following message from a bank. I immediately knew that it was bogus, since I did not have an account with it... but as I read the mail, I first started to think that is was legit, just sent to me by mistake. I then looked it over more closely... valid return address, valid contact information about the bank, no suspicious links (just plain text), a warning about the dangers of "phishing", low-key … (15 comments)
I have experimented with shooting a handful of videos while either driving a neighborhood or riding my bike. Both of these examples have required me to hold the video camera with one hand and steer my car or bike with the other hand. Last week I was visiting a Best Buy store and I came across a new product that will make my neighborhood videos shoots a breeze and here is a photo of my newest tech tool. 
I was so excited when I found out that my immediate area had an increase from last year that I assumed that because we doing good..so is everywhere else. Well I am posting the results to the area 801 as a whole. Davis County, Weber County, and Box Elder County. The results were disappointing because we did not experience an increase as a whole. When you see the numbers you will still see that it may be less but REALLY it is not that bad. We still are experiencing a good market. Consumer faith should be restored.
