Passion Optimism Drive!
In the real estate world, Realtors are higher on the food chain than mortgage brokers. Always have been. Always will be. Which, as Lola pointed out in her well written featured post, means mortgage brokers seek out Realtor relationships, with results that are not always successful, and tactics that are not always welcome.
This is a tale of 1 seller and 2 brokerages. It is unfortunate.

I remembered and followed the lessons that I learned as the administrative manager of a real estate office. There were successful agents, not successful agents and then those that rode the waves. So, I just wrote a blog about how music ended up on my blog without me knowing. It snuck in through a slide show I placed on my precious little blog. I had no idea about it until a friend messaged me. So, what about all this music stuff? Yes, it's cool that it allows us to be creative but is it really good for business?
A few days ago Margaret Woda wrote a thought provoking post about Broker survival and tough choices where she asked whether anyone has had their broker cut back on services previously promised with the market slowdown, and if so how do they feel about it? As usual Margaret's piece was very well written and her comments balanced...more interested in the debate than convincing you her opinion is the right one.

The process of buying or selling a home is filled with decisions. You can base many of those decisions on objective criteria, like how many bedrooms you want or what price comparable homes have fetched. Often, though, people decide which agent to hire without giving it much thought at all. That could be a big mistake. I got a google alert for Buffalo Real Estate today:
For the first time in over a year, listing inventory in the greater Las Vegas valley fell below 20,000 single family residences and condominiums. This is extremely good news for our market. We have been plagued by too much supply. The population of the valley should support an inventory of around 19,000 listings. We are seeing tremendous activity in the foreclosure market, with properly priced properties in good condition receiving multiple offers. Median prices will probably remain low as the under $200,000 price range is the most active. Nevertheless, these numbers are positive news for our market.
April, 2008 Unemployment rate for Wichita, KS dropped to 3.5%. All aircraft plants are hiring. The oil and gas industry are doing great and Wichita area farmers are experiencing the highest farm prices in years.
JP Morgan Chase is expanding it's home lending business in Washington State and will more than quadruple it's market share by the end of the year. Chase has seven branches and plans to open up four more offices this year.

I'm not a songwriter, but I've always admired those who could combines words and music in a way that could grab me, cause an emotional response and create images and thoughts in my mind. I have been hearing rumors that Apple is working on a newer version of their popular iPhone. I have been doing some searching online and I have not found anything solid confirming this beyond forum chit chat. If you know anything about the upcoming feature enhancements I would love to hear from you. Some features I would love to see added are video recording, video conferencing like iChat using wifi or cellular broadband and an SD card slot for added storage and ease of transfer.

Albuquerque is a regular contender on the list of healthiest cities in the US. Some of the reason has to do with our clean air, which is no longer as clean as it used to be as the city and its industry grow and expand but also because of the efforts ofthe city to promoe healthy lifestyles.
